- Minutes 8 to 102 min
Today’s focus
Note
Count early calls and playable first contacts. Keep servers close enough that receivers get useful balls.
- Minutes 10 to 2010 min

Warm up the hands

- Minutes 20 to 3212 min

- Minutes 65 to 8520 min

Compete from a serve
Drill, 6 to 12 players
Games to 11. Split into threes and rotate extras every two rallies. Start each rally with a serve from the player’s reliable distance. Ask the receivers to call the second-ball player early.
- Minutes 85 to 905 min
Cool down and review
Note
Walk, drink water and stretch comfortably. Who called the seam early? Pick one reception habit to carry into the next game.
